COVID-19 Status Update

June 15, 2022

Residents, families and friends,

Since we last spoke, we have had no confirmation of a COVID+ resident. We are continuing to follow public health guidance and policies for infection control. The state released an updated All Facilities Letter which can be found here:

https://www.cdph.ca.gov/Programs/CHCQ/LCP/Pages/AFL-22-13.aspx

One update of concern relates to newly admitted residents, or residents returning to the facility after a >24 hour absence, who must be tested upon admission and intermittently until the 14th day from admission. In addition, all residents eligible for a booster shot (1 or 2) will now only be considered fully vaccinated if said booster has been received. All visitation policies and procedures remain in place, please read through the article or call us for any questions. In accordance with Public Health, we still requiring all staff and visitors in patient areas to wear a N-95 respirator and eye protection/face shield due to the high positivity rate in Ventura County (over 12%).

We appreciate your continued support and will continue to communicate if our situation changes.

All the best!

Your Camarillo Healthcare Center Leadership Team
